Our Story

Our services range from conference and function venues to accommodation and spa facilities – combining corporate and relaxation – we’re the ideal choice for the business guest away from home, the conference planner organizing their next event, the bridal couple in search of a memorable venue or for anyone looking to get away from their everyday routine and spoil themselves a little bit.

Bloem Spa Hotel & Conference Centre was previously known as Bloem Spa Lodge & Conference Centre and changed its name when the hotel was expanded to accommodate an extra 44 guests by adding an additional 26 bedrooms. Bloem Spa, as it is informally known with those familiar to it, has seen numerous renovations over the last few years to not only meet the demands of business but also to give Bloem Spa a warm, inviting look and feel.

We are a 3 star rated premises graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. And we are also registered with the South African Tourism Service Association (SATSA). Before being accredited, SATSA members must conform to a strict code of conduct guaranteeing the highest standards of service and quality. Bloem Spa is also registered with the Federated Hospitality Association of Southern Africa (FEDHASA). We have a BBBEE status of level Five verified by Sanas.

Bloem Spa has hosted countless conferences, weddings, functions & events including a gala dinner for the ANC Centenary and has also accommodated groups during major events such as the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa where we hosted teams such as England, Paraguay & South Africa during their games in Bloemfontein as well as the Brazil team during the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2009.
